Hey, welcome to TheNextAisle, showcasing my use of the things I enjoy: gadgets, snapshots and filming. Yes oh yes! I’m known to bust out my camera, take photos and record when opportunity meets. What can I say? I’m a super camera freak. This place is a storage for my videography and a journey booklet for my photos. Thanks for visiting!

The Senior Market Day Project

August 10, 2010

This was filmed for my brother and his teammate’s high school senior market day assignment. They had to create an item representing the “class of 2010” and advertise it to their class by creating either a photo story or video. He got an A on the shorter 7 minute version I was able to finish at that time, so mission accomplished. Meanwhile, I decided to turn it into an actual short film to add to my collection.

Since it was my first time filming a short film, I definitely took mental notes for next time. Such as: the tripod should be my bestie when filming, pay big attention to wardrobe changes and surrounding items in the background that either need to be removed or covered up. If I can execute that, I will save myself precious time when editing.

The actors have arrived.

Sweet Dreams

January 18, 2010

This is the first video spoof I’ve done with my lovely green screen and let me tell you something searching for free backdrops is not an easy thing. I was about to lose my manners and my mind lol. We filmed this in about an hour and it was so rushed that I had my doubts about what on earth it would turn out to look like. But it’s all in the editing as some would say. The next program I would love to own is Adobe After Effects. Whoo. I so want to play with and just learn that program. Anyways, yay for another little video to add to my collection.

I Should Make Each Day Famous

August 5, 2009

A commercial by Famous Footwear that I just discovered. It’s cute, uplifting and fun.
It says, make today: playful, frisky, pop, loud, lyrical, glamorous, fearless, heroic, huge, electric, dangerous, lively and famous. The music is called Hold Tight by Valentyne Krush. Newest addition to my playlist. 😉

Town Center Filming

August 5, 2009

The town center in my mind is like a dream filming land. It goes on and on with these nice restaurants, open areas, fancy buildings, gorgeous lighting and designs. Lovely filming spots everywhere! Recently I had got a chance to take my cam equipment there for a self-photo/filming session with the great help of my pal, Jose.
